Hello everyone, thank you so much for reading my new blog post. This is Part 3 of getting a `Will & Testament` done in Japan. As you know, I am still in the process of creating my `Will & Testament` with my Japanese lawyer and the Japanese Notary Public. As I stated in the last blog post, Part 2 (https://privatejapan.weebly.com/blog-page/getting-a-will-testament-in-japan-part-2), the Notary Public suggested that I get a contract with a company that helps people to deal with `after death problems.` For example, this type of company will help me to get my body embalmed and then relocated back to the USA.
My translator and I called a few of these company and I have an appointment coming up next November 19th, 2018 and then I will be able to give you an update about the type of services that they provide and how much they cost. Moreover, my translator and I called and spoke with a few of these companies. We learned that the services were very expensive. One of the contracts was around 270,000 yen ($2,700) and I am not sure and what is included in their services. Nevertheless, I will update you next week after I have my meeting next Monday. Happy learning!
